Natasha Gita Pearson is a music composer for film, games, theatre and contemporary ensembles. She writes for screen, stage and performance. Natasha’s warmth and curiousity lay the groundwork for a highly collaborative and transparent process.

Natasha's practice is guided by her education in western classical and jazz music and influenced by Folk, Pop, Rock, Music Theatre, contemporary film music and game music. She began her training as a vocalist and crafts lyrics that range from poetic to candid. Her instrumental music can also be very lyrical. She works with a combination of instrumentation, electronic and experimental sounds to deliver unique outcomes for each project.

Natasha's releases include her Jazz/Pop album, New Leaf, which aired on over 50 Australian Radio Stations, and The Song of Us, which featured as the theme music in Beyond The Stage, a 3MBS Fine Music podcast. Chamber ensembles have performed Natasha's music around Naarm, Melbourne and abroad. These ensembles include PLEXUS, the Grainger Wind Symphony and Ensemble Phorminx.

Natasha is one half of the musical theatre making duo who created Ace of Hearts. The musical appeared in PRONTO (2018), MUST Cabaret Festival (2018), the Midsumma Festival (2019 & 2021) and Be New Showcase (2023).
